Under some circumstances, it may be helpful to change iTop URL. Changing its directory, changing the server name or IP, creating an alias are all cases where this will be needed.

After the change, set the field app_root_url in the Configuration file, otherwise the application will stop working !

• This field must contain the root URL used for navigating within the application.
• This value is also used to create the web links proposed within iTop generated emails.
• You can put $SERVER_NAME$ as a placeholder for the server's name.

Note that after changing this config parameter it is mandatory to run a setup again.
